Independence Excavating in the Pittsburgh area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support day-to-day project administration, help the Project Manager and Superintendent with POs, subcontracts, RFIs, and cost tracking, with growth into a full Project Manager role.
This role focuses on coordinating drawings, schedules, permits, subcontractors, and field communications while upholding safety and quality standards on heavy civil projects.

Independence Excavating is looking for a driven and ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join our team! As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day project administrative and management needs. You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with purchase orders, subcontracts, RFI’s, submittals, job costs and projections. This position will grow into a Project Management role in the future.
