Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a large multiyear heavy civil highway program in Lakeland, FL.

You will work alongside the project manager on planning, subcontracts, contract administration, and field coordination to keep costs and schedules on track. The ideal candidate has 3+ years on heavy civil highway or bridge projects, a four-year degree in construction management or civil engineering, and strong skills in submittals, RFIs, and pay estimates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on heavy civil highway or bridge projects
• Four year degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Civil Engineering
• Solid with submittals, RFIs, quantities and pay estimates
• FDOT or Turnpike experience is a plus
• Clear writer and communicator under schedule pressure
• Primavera P6, HCSS or Bluebeam is a plus
• Based in Central Florida or ready to relocate to the Lakeland area

Responsabilités

• Track quantities, pay items and monthly pay estimates

An established heavy civil contractor is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for a large multiyear highway program in the Lakeland and Polk County area. This is a strong next step for a Project Engineer ready to move up, or an APM who wants a big job with a long runway and a stable employer. You'll work alongside the project manager on planning, subcontracts and contract administration so the job stays on budget and on schedule, much of it state highway work. Central Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.

What You'll Be Responsible For
