Interstates is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to work closely with field crews, keep projects on track, and deliver excellent client results while tackling tough challenges. The role emphasizes training, support, and a clear career path within a dynamic, growth-oriented company.

You will contribute to project planning, scheduling, procurement, and reporting, with opportunities to advance into a PM role within 2–3 years and benefit from a strong safety culture and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree is required or preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to track, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and jobsite leadership in managerial and leadership functions on the project.
• Run project control systems for the benefit of the project team.
• CPM schedule creation and updating/communicating.
• Last Planner/White Board crew scheduling.
• RFI’s, submittals, meeting minutes, and other site communication.
• Act as a project analyst; assess project controls information and assist jobsite leadership in problem solving.
