BAMCO inc. in Middlesex, NJ is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Engineering Department in delivering high-quality construction projects. This in-person role requires strong organization, teamwork, and communication.

You will work with project teams, prepare bid packages, assist with budgets, and help with field measurements, shop drawings, and procurement. The position offers comprehensive benefits including ESOP, health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and meet project deadlines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting shop drawings and architectural plans.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team members to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support submission of project deliverables, ensuring quality standards.
• Assist in preparing bid packages and managing procurement processes.
• Contribute to BOM and labor budgets, and help compile pre-job packages.
• Participate in site meetings and assist with field measurements.
