Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a driven professional to support project management on energy-focused projects in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with pre-bid activities, conduct job start meetings, and help ensure contract compliance under supervision.

You’ll prepare field reports, maintain As Built drawings, and support budget and CPM scheduling to drive project success. With 3+ years in PM, engineering, or construction management and a BS in a related field, you’ll collaborate with teams

Responsibilities

  • Assist the project management team with energy source aspects of the project.
  • Conduct pre-bid and job start meetings under supervision.
  • Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager.
  • Facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Oversee approvals from government agencies and document them.
  • Prepare field reporting for review by Project Manager.
  • Perform QA/QC processes and review change orders for conformance.
  • Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness and distribute to design team.
  • Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
  • Review and maintain As Built drawings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project management team with the energy source aspects of the project
  • Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings.
  • Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager.
  • Under the supervision of Project Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented. .
  • Prepares field reporting for review by Project Manager.
  • Perform QA/QC process.
  • Review change orders for completeness and conformance to company and client standards.
  • Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team.
  • Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
  • Review and maintain As Built drawings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field, Engineering degree is highly preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management

The salary range for this full-time role is $71,900.00-$95,900.01 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
