Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Philadelphia to support planning, coordination, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects. You will assist Project Managers, coordinate documentation, track budgets, and help manage scheduling and milestones on local site projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in construction coordination or PM roles, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of construction project coordination or project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and team-focused approach.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with planning and execution of construction projects.
  • Coordinate project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Track project budgets, commitments, and cost reporting.
  • Support scheduling activities and monitor project milestones.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
  • Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination.
  • Monitor project compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover documentation.
