Responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, procurement logs, and closeout packages.
  • Coordinate communication between field and office teams.
  • Support project schedules, look-ahead planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Assist with budgeting, change orders, vendor invoices, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate subcontractors across civil, structural, MEP, and specialty trades.
  • Track quality control items, punch lists, and project compliance documentation.
  • Support procurement and material delivery schedules.
  • Prepare reports and project updates for clients, architects, and engineers.

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 Base Salary + Benefits

The Opportunity:
We are partnered with a well-established industrial general contractor in the Houston market is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to its growing team. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected, employee-focused builder with an exceptional retention record, a strong project pipeline, and direct exposure to senior leadership. This role offers hands-on involvement across every stage of the project lifecycle and a clear route into project management.

About the Company:
Our client is a specialist industrial general contractor delivering ground-up projects across the Greater Houston area. Their portfolio includes distribution centers, warehouse developments, manufacturing facilities, and tilt-wall construction projects ranging from approximately 50,000 to 500,000 square feet. With a lean, collaborative structure and a highly engaged leadership team, employees gain responsibility quickly and have the opportunity to make a visible impact on every project.

Responsibilities:
Working closely with both the Project Manager and Superintendent, the Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of complex industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
