Job summary

NSG - Real Estate & Construction (Noor Staffing Group) seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Superintendent from preconstruction through closeout, owning project controls and coordinating with subcontractors and design teams.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, track budgets and schedules, and contribute to safety, QA/QC programs on site while helping drive projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3-6 years of commercial construction experience in a project engineer or similar role.
• Working knowledge of contracts, change order processes, and project cost controls.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera P6, Sage/Viewpoint.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to keep multiple projects and stakeholders organized.
• OSHA 30 (required/preferred); PMP, CM-Lit, or LEED credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and change order requests, keeping them moving and documented.

• Assist with subcontract buyout, scopes of work, and bid leveling.
• Track budgets, cost reports, and forecasts, and prepare pay applications and subcontractor billing.
• Maintain and update project schedules in partnership with the Superintendent.
• Lead and document OAC meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.
• Support safety, quality, and QA/QC programs on site.
• Manage closeout documentation, including O&Ms, warranties, and punch lists.
• Mentor and guide Project Engineers and interns
