We’re representing a reputable, relationship-driven general contractor based in Greenville, SC that’s known for integrity, craftsmanship, and a hands-on approach to building. The team is looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support ongoing and upcoming commercial projects across Upstate, SC.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction (preferably with a general contractor)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Procore or similar project management software
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to planning and problem-solving

Responsibilities
  • Preconstruction Planning: Coordinate early-stage project activities from concept through permitting.
  • Project Management Tools: Utilize the Procore platform daily to manage documentation, communication, and workflow.
  • Trade Partner Coordination: Assist with subcontractor solicitation, proposal review, scope development, and subcontract issuance.
  • Field Collaboration: Work with site supervision to plan daily activities focused on safety, schedule, and quality.
  • Constructability & Quality: Participate in constructability reviews and evaluate work for conformance with contract documents.
  • Cost Management: Support project cost tracking, subcontract and purchase order development, and profitability reporting.
  • Contract Support: Help mitigate risk through thoughtful trade partner and owner contract development.
  • Teamwork & Mentorship: Partner with senior team members to deliver projects successfully and continue developing your construction management skill set.
