Job summary

Fisk Electric Co. in San Antonio, TX, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join our office.

You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and administration to deliver safety, quality, and profitability on assigned projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will review contracts, help develop master schedules, manage project costs and documentation, and support site safety and quality programs.

Qualifications

• Four-year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in construction, design, finance and management.
• 2+ years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor.
• Proficiency in Fisk’s computer software and keyboarding necessary (Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, AIA Contract Documents).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review owner contract and ensure compliance.
• Assist in developing master project schedule and quality control program.
• Assist with contract buyout within 90 days.
• Assist with site safety program development.
• Assist with project quality program development.
• Assist with site logistics plan development.
• Participate in and document punch list process.
• Coordinate and document owner training.
• Prepare O&M manuals and warranties.
• Assist with managing project costs relative to budget.
• Manage schedule updates.
• Support project planning meetings.
• Identify risks that could affect cost, schedule, or owner satisfaction.
• Assist with monthly project status reports and executive summaries.

DESCRIPTION: An Assistant Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in the overall planning, scheduling and administration of an assigned project. May be assigned responsibility for specific aspects of a project. Perform all essential functions and responsibilities in conjunction with the company’s values and beliefs in alignment with Fisk Electric’s policies so that the construction process and building are completed to the client’s full satisfaction and at the Company’s expected levels of safety, quality and profitability.

As an Assistant Project Manager at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

REQUIREMENTS
