Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated in the United States is seeking a project management support role focused on water well drilling and pump installation projects. You will assist with forecasting revenue and costs to meet profitability targets, and coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budgets.

You will work with business development and operations to align resources with project schedules, participate in bid reviews, and help compile and submit bids.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project management tasks and the financial outcomes of water well drilling and pump installation projects.

• Coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budget.
• Coordinate efforts with business development and operations teams to manage resources to meet project schedules.
• Participate in bid reviews and bid closings to evaluate feasibility and develop bid schedules.
• Assist with compiling and submitting job bids to clients.
• Provide environment for dynamic project communication between Superintendents and Area Manager to ensure efficiency, profitability, and safety.
• Ensure proper job controls for quantities, costs, revenue and schedule.
• Establish and maintain relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, and management to develop long-term partnerships.
• Ensure accurate project reports for continuous performance improvement.
• Assist with running projects at profitability levels to meet or exceed margins.
• Support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

General Summary

This position is assists with project management tasks and the financial outcome of water well drilling and pump installation projects.

Coordinates with estimators and project controls group to establish budget.

Coordinates efforts with business development and operations teams to manage resources to meet project schedule.

Participates in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy of bid and evaluate project feasibility; works with business development team to develop bid schedule.

Assists with compiling and submitting job bids to clients.

Provides environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Superintendents and Area Manager to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner.

Ensures proper job controls, i.e. quantities, costs, revenue and schedule.

Establishes and maintains working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, corporate management, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base.

Ensures accurate project reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance.

Assists with running projects at profitability levels to meet or exceed expected margins.

Complies with, understands, and supports corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

Base Salary Range

$62,933.00 - $94,397.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
