Job description

At Project Leaders, a division of Colliers Engineering & Design, we help leaders advance the built environment by assisting them to build amazing workplaces, businesses, and communities around the world. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting Project Managers with the active management of design, construction, and closeout phases of commercial and/or educational building projects in the New England region, primarily in RI, to ensure the success of investors, owners, and occupants.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist project managers with complex building projects from start to finish (pre-design through construction) on time and on budget.
  • Build relationships and execute tasks as assigned.
  • Understand the project management process and know the various processes practiced by architects, engineers, and other consultants.
  • Assist with the building process, ensuring client goals and objectives are addressed within financial and schedule parameters for multiple stakeholders. Support, assess, and organize projects related to scheduling, logistics, sequencing, cost, quality, and progress, including process change orders.
  • Review and evaluate project-related materials such as descriptions, drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, contracts, and proposals. Regularly review construction documents for conformance to project goals, value engineering, and constructability.
  • Assist with or monitor project-related documents such as monthly reports, budgets, schedules, presentations, minutes, and insurance tracking logs.

Qualifications :

A Bachelor's degree preferably in architecture, construction management, engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of relevant experience with a strong background in building design, construction, architecture, and/or engineering.

Demonstrated problem-solving, planning, organizing, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage various tasks, schedules, and deliverables.

Enthusiasm to promote and drive project implementation.

Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Strong teamwork capabilities.

Ability to multitask in stressful situations and prioritize effectively.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Proficient in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
