Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) / Project Engineer in the United States. The role supports the Project Management team with engineering plans, submittals, scheduling, cost analysis, and coordination of technical activities.

Candidates should have 2+ years of construction or project management experience and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant construction, engineering, or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Management team on engineering plans, construction procedures, and project execution strategies.
• Identify opportunities for project enhancements, process improvements, and value engineering.
• Prepare, process, and track project submittals.
• Facilitate the Change Order process, including monthly budget analysis, cost projections, and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Manage CPM project schedules, including baseline development and updates.
• Manage RFIs and other engineering-related inquiries.

Assistant Project Manager (APM) / Project Engineer

An established infrastructure and energy construction organization is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and highly organized Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to join its Project Management team.

This individual will provide comprehensive construction project support, including submittal processing, material management, budget analysis, project scheduling, and coordination of engineering-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Management team on engineering plans, construction procedures, and project execution strategies.
• Identify opportunities for project enhancements, process improvements, and value engineering.
• Prepare, process, and track project submittals.
• Facilitate the Change Order process, including monthly budget analysis, cost projections, and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Manage Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedules, including baseline development and updates.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and other engineering-related inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant construction, engineering, or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Consideration will also be given to candidates with considerable relevant trade union experience.
