Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for federal projects in the greater Omaha area. This role emphasizes problem-solving, listening, and leadership development within a family-owned, fast-growing firm that blends a small-company feel with large-company backing.

You will plan and coordinate projects, monitor safety and quality controls, forecast budgets, and manage subcontractors and project engineers. Relocation may be required for certain roles.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in construction or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Ability to establish relationships and lead people.
• Specific roles may require relocation.
