Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to the Senior Project Manager and project team on site.
• Coordinate between contractors, vendors, engineers, and client representatives.
• Facilitate clear communication between Mandarin- and English-speaking team members.
• Assist with project meetings, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, reports, schedules, correspondence, and records.
• Track project activities, RFIs, submittals, and other deliverables as needed.
• Support field coordination and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with translating or interpreting technical communications when necessary.
• Identify issues requiring Senior Project Manager attention and ensure follow-up.
• Maintain a professional and collaborative on-site presence.

FusionIRX is seeking a bilingual Mandarin/English Assistant Project Engineer / Site Coordinator to support the Senior Project Manager on-site for the construction and development of a specialty chemical manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, AZ.

This position will assist with day-to-day project coordination, communication, documentation, meetings, and interaction between English- and Mandarin-speaking project stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, technically minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to the Senior Project Manager and project team.
• Assist with coordination between contractors, vendors, engineers, and client representatives.
• Facilitate clear communication between Mandarin- and English-speaking team members.
• Assist with project meetings, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, reports, schedules, correspondence, and records.
• Track project activities, outstanding items, RFIs, submittals, and other project deliverables as needed.
• Support field coordination and communicate project updates to appropriate stakeholders.
• Assist with translating or interpreting technical and project-related communication when necessary.
• Help identify issues requiring Senior Project Manager attention and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain a professional and collaborative presence on the project site.

Qualifications

• Fluent/bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English — required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; relevant project experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial facilities, or project coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with project documentation and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of a project organization.
• Ability to work on-site in Casa Grande, Arizona.
• Experience with specialty chemical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, battery, pharmaceutical, or other highly technical manufacturing facilities is a plus.
