Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive homeless services experience.
• 10+ years supervising social service staff in shelter, housing, or related programs.
• Experience with NYC DHS or similar city-operated organizations.
• Strong leadership, management, and policy implementation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Shelter environment to ensure behavioral guidelines are followed and a therapeutic milieu is maintained.
• Coordinates clinical services for multidisciplinary case management teams.
• Implements policies and procedures for efficient delivery of program services.
• Provides regular clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff.
• Documents supervisory sessions, completes appraisals and administers discipline as required.
• Assists in hiring and termination decisions for staff.
• Identifies staff training needs and plans/executes training to maintain competency and compliance.
• Ensures accurate, timely client treatment records per regulatory and agency policy.
