Position Description:

The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor Term. This position will provide care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting with clinical partners through the UofL Health System and the VA. Your role as a rheumatologist will be to engage in all three missions of academic medicine - teaching, research, and patient care. A successful candidate will be expected to train rheumatology fellows, residents, and medical students and provide them with a thorough understanding of autoimmune disorders. They will also have the opportunity to collaborate with research on clinical trials to ensure that the rheumatology fellows are engaged in the clinical trial research arena. The candidate must be board-certified or board eligible in rheumatology and hold a valid Kentucky medical license.
