Position Description:

The Department of Neurological Surgery in the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville is seeking applications for a full time Assistant Professor who is a board certified or board eligible neurosurgeon (specializing in Vascular Neurosurgery) that will serve the neurosurgical clinical needs of the population at large in Louisville, KY.

This position will:
  • Provide clinical care for patients.
  • Perform Vascular Surgery on patients.
  • Perform Endovascular surgery on patients.
  • Perform Surgery on stroke patients.


This position requires an MD and completed Residency in Neurological Surgery, demonstrated interest and expertise in Vascular neurosurgery with a high impact publication record. The Successful candidate will have clinical, academic, and research experience, knowledge in various clinical areas, strong communication skills, a desire for inter-disciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to educate residents and treat patients.
