The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Minnesota seeks a board‑certified or eligible Pediatric Cardiology Physician for an Assistant Professor tenure‑track position. The appointment involves a strong interest in Pediatric Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Devices, and Pediatric Heart Transplant, and will work under the Medical Director of Heart Failure/Transplant/VAD.
Join our team of 20 Cardiologists dedicated to providing outstanding innovative pediatric heart care, education, and research. The Pediatric Heart Transplant program is over 35 years old with a long history of Pediatric Heart Transplants at the University of Minnesota. The program has grown exponentially in the last several years. As a result of the growth in the program, we are recruiting a second, Heart Failure/Transplant cardiologist. Our Heart Center utilizes a comprehensive team of CV intensivists, care coordinators, cardiologists, and surgeons—all within a true children's hospital setting, on a leading academic campus. We currently have 3 Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgeons with high-level expertise in repairs of congenital heart defects, pediatric mechanical circulatory support, and pediatric heart transplants.
Pay Range: $253,600; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
