The College of Charleston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in sensory neuroscience beginning August 16, 2027. A Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field is required, with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and an active research program that involves undergraduates.

Research area is open; animal-model work is encouraged. Teaching will include Sensation & Perception, Behavioral Neuroscience, and related labs and electives; a typical load is 9

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
• Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and maintaining an active research program with undergraduates.
• Research area in sensory neuroscience open; animal models is encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Teach foundational courses in Sensation & Perception and Behavioral Neuroscience.
• Deliver Advanced Laboratories in Sensation & Perception and/or Behavioral Neuroscience.
• Develop specialized elective courses related to field of expertise and mentor undergraduate researchers.
