Qualifications

• PhD, DDS/PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent in relevant field.
• Demonstrated research productivity with peer‑reviewed publications.
• Evidence of potential for securing extramural funding.
• Postdoctoral training with musculoskeletal or craniofacial focus preferred.
• Experience in bone regeneration, stem cell biology, biomaterials, or tissue engineering advantageous.
• Emerging or established track record of grant funding (e.g., NIH or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain an independent externally funded research program in musculoskeletal biology, tissue engineering, and/or regenerative medicine.
• Develop research on bone biology, skeletal repair, and craniofacial/alveolar bone regeneration.
• Publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present findings at national/international meetings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across basic science, clinical departments, and industry partners.
• Contribute to teaching in predoctoral, postdoctoral, and/or graduate programs; mentor students and trainees.
• Engage in departmental, college, and university committees; participate in peer review and grant panels.
