The University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine/Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine seeks applicants for a faculty position focused on patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of medical students, house officers and fellows, and development of an independent research program.
The position invites candidates at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, with the rank to be determined by qualifications.

Patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of medical students, house officers and fellows and establish independent research program in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care
M.D degree and be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. Selected candidate will also hold (or have the ability to obtain) appropriate medical licenses for the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence and documentation of scholarly ability and achievement (record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, successful acquisition of external funding). Preferred candidate will possess the critical elements of teaching (knowledge of subject matter, skill in presentation, enthusiastic approach, etc.).
