The Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, invites applications for a faculty physician with an interest in breast reconstructive procedures, as well as patient care and education. Specific duties include establishing a growing practice at the Frisco Medical Office Building in Frisco, Texas with operative privileges at Texas Health Frisco, independently operating, at times with trainees performing major reconstructive surgical procedures. The applicant will work within the Harold C Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, Frisco campus. Other responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics: participate in didactic sessions, seminars and rounds with plastic surgery residents, Opportunities to develop clinical research expertise exist.
This position requires fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery. Candidates must have an MD or M.D. /Ph.D., must be board certified or board eligible in Plastic Surgery and be eligible for Texas medical licensure.
