Position Title: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Finance

Employment Type: Full-time, Faculty, Exempt

Reports To: Chair of the Business Department

The Department of Business in the College of Business, Economics, and Computing seeks to fill a tenure-track finance faculty position. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate finance courses, conducting research, and serving the department, college, university, community, and profession.

Applicants should hold or be pursuing a Ph.D., D.B.A., or similar terminal degree in Finance or related fields. Candidates should be capable of teaching both introductory and advanced finance courses and have experience or interest in topics like societal impact, FinTech, or AI, including related research. Experience in teaching Accounting courses is a plus. The teaching load is 24 credits annually (typically 4 courses per semester), with additional workload credit for graduate classes. The position involves teaching in various formats such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and competency-based education.
