Qualifications

• Ph.D. (by hire date) in Horticulture/Plant Science, Landscape Architecture, Agricultural Sustainability/Sustainable Design, Regenerative Landscaping, or closely related field.
• Evidence of teaching and research in urban horticulture, regenerative agriculture, landscape design, or urban improvement.
• Ability to publish in leading outlets and secure external funding; mentor students.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses required for horticulture and related majors.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students and co-advise student groups.
• Lead horticulture teaching and research programs and engage with stakeholders.
• Develop courses in urban-horticulture topics and perform outreach across departments.
