Clemson’s Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure track faculty member in Human Factors Psychology. For this Assistant Professor position we are seeking a productive researcher in human factors or engineering psychology. The research area is open, with possible areas of expertise including applied cognition, decision making, surface transportation, automation/AI, ergonomics, UI/UX Design, perception, action, and performance. Successful candidates will be expected to mentor graduate students in our Human Factors Psychology doctoral program.

This position will begin in the fall of 2027. The ideal candidates will have a strong research record that will be extramurally supported, and a commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate education.
