Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or a related discipline.
• Skills in academic advising and mentoring students.
• Innovative, student-driven, and possessing strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in establishing and maintaining community partnerships.
• Ability to teach multiple core courses in Elementary Education and Youth Development.
• Ability to contribute to program and university service, and engage with the discipline and community.
• Demonstrated excellence working with and/or for children and youth.

Responsibilities

• Teach 15-16 credit hours per semester of undergraduate courses within the major.
• Advise up to 30 undergraduate students in the major.
• Participate in university, professional, and community service activities.
• Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with community partners throughout New Hampshire.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Incorporate evidence-informed practices, critical thinking, and real-world professional applications into teaching and student learning.
• Support innovative, experiential, and interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning.
