The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln ( UNL ) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice position in the area of Construction Management and Construction Engineering beginning no later than January 2027. This is a non-tenure track, 9-month faculty appointment (paid over 12 months). The Durham School https://engineering.unl.edu/durhamschool is co-located in two cities, Lincoln and Omaha, which are approximately 50 miles apart. With approximately 30 faculty, 700 undergraduate students, and 100 graduate students, the Durham School is the only endowed academic unit ($30 million) in the UNL College of Engineering and has strong ties with several world-class construction firms, including Black & Veatch, Hensel Phelps, JE Dunn, Kiewit, McCarthy, Mortenson, Turner, Whiting-Turner, and many others.
