Marquette University’s Department of Finance invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Practice to serve as Academic Coordinator of the CFP Board Registered financial planning concentration. This position provides academic leadership for the financial planning program while contributing to the Finance Department’s commitment to experiential learning and industry engagement. The successful candidate will be an accomplished educator with expertise in financial planning, dedicated to student success and the advancement of the financial planning profession.
The standard teaching load is 21 credit hours per academic year for candidates without a terminal degree. A reduced load of 18 credit hours per academic year will be considered for candidates who hold a terminal degree, or who are ABDs in advanced dissertation stages, and maintain an active research agenda. This is a 9-month position with opportunities for summer teaching for overload compensation.
