The successful candidate mustdemonstrate the ability to teach survey courses on World Historysince 1500, undergraduate upper-level courses in their area ofspecialization that support the department’s minor in GlobalHistory, and graduate seminars that contribute a global dimensionto the department’s PhD program. In addition to teachingundergraduate and graduate students, other duties include carryingout a scholarly research agenda and contributing service at thedepartment and university levels.
