Job summary

Kennesaw State University is seeking a qualified Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Michael A. Leven School of Management. Job Summary: Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Michael A. Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship and Hospitality with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine‑month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Teaching entrepreneurship and strategic management or family business.
• Research in entrepreneurship, strategic management, or family business.
• Service in entrepreneurship program coordinator, curriculum development, and/or program assessment support.

Required Qualifications

• An earned Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline is required.
• 3 years of teaching in higher education.
• 2 years of program leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in program management.
• Experience in a leadership role with a center.
• Experience working with graduate and undergraduate students.
• Experience in program development.
