This is a full-time tenure-track position. Primary duties willinclude teaching undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses;conducting research; and mentoring students. Duties also includeserving on departmental, college, university, and professionalcommittees as well as mentoring students. This position requiresface-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendanceon campus and in the workplace. The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Criminal Justice or arelated field. Candidates who are ABD will also be considered butmust have earned their degree before August 16, 2027. Allspecializations will be considered but preference will be given tothose with expertise in border security, homeland security,security studies, GIS, immigration, or a related area. We stronglyencourage candidates with strong research skills, strong records ofor potential for sustained publication in peer-reviewed journals,and the potential for or prior experience with seeking and/orsecuring external grant funding.
