The Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We seek outstanding scientists in cancer, aging, metabolism, cell biology, immunology, and stem cell biology with an externally funded program.

We welcome applicants employing diverse experimental, computational, and interdisciplinary approaches to address fundamental and translational biomedical questions, in a collaborative environment with CFCCC

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent required at time of application.
• Three letters of reference required.
• Demonstrated ability to establish or develop an externally funded research program.
• Interdisciplinary approaches to biomedical sciences.

Responsabilités

• Establish or develop an innovative, rigorous, and externally funded research program that complements the department's strengths.
• Engage with collaborative and interdisciplinary research across campus and CFCCC.
