The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in non-surgical weight management and/or obesity medicine.

Applicants must have an M.D. degree and be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Qualifications

• MD degree and board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
• Expertise in non-surgical weight management or obesity medicine.
• Ability to teach in endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs; engage in high-quality teaching (100 credits per year).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients with endocrine disorders focusing on obesity medicine.
• Conduct clinical and education activities and teach in the endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs.
