Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced to candidacy or earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Nanoengineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Bioengineering, or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment.
• Evidence of potential for excellence in scholarship with impactful publications, innovation, and external funding potential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels and contribute to curriculum development and assessment.
• Develop and lead an externally funded research program at the intersection of nanosensing, wearable technologies, diagnostics, and healthcare applications.
• Collaborate with school- and university-wide institutes, centers, and initiatives to foster interdisciplinary research and education.
