Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field required by start date.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out innovative and impactful research.
• Interest in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Interest in mentoring and training graduate students.
• At least one year of post-doctoral experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a robust, externally funded research program.
• Lead an independent research program and engage in collaboration at NC State and the Research Triangle.
• Teach organic- and physical-chemistry and related topics at graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Mentor graduate students and other scholars.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
