Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or closely related field required by start date.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out innovative and impactful research.
• Experience in teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Strong mentoring skills.
• Post-doctoral experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a robust externally funded research program.
• Lead an independent research program and engage in collaborative research at NC State and the Research Triangle.
• Teach organic- and physical-chemistry and related topics at the graduate and undergraduate level.
• Mentor graduate students and other scholars.
