The Ohio State University’s Department of Molecular Genetics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. Successful candidates will develop an externally funded research program and contribute to teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD required with at least two years of postdoctoral or equivalent experience.
• Strong research productivity and the ability to develop a rigorous research program.
• Commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an externally funded, nationally recognized research program.
• Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and mentor students.
• Collaborate across departments and core facilities to advance research goals.
