Columbia University Irving Medical Center's Institute of Human Nutrition (IHN) seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor in the tenure track within the Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at VP&S.

The successful applicant will establish a rigorous, independently funded research program in metabolic biology, supervise and mentor students from diverse backgrounds, and contribute to teaching master's and PhD programs within the IHN and related graduate training initiatives.

Qualifications

• PhD and/or MD/PhD or equivalent degree.
• Outstanding record of research accomplishments and potential to secure external funding.
• Excellent teaching credentials and ability to contribute to graduate training.

Responsibilities

• Establish a rigorous, independently funded research program in metabolic biology.
• Supervise and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
