The Assistant Professor of Medical Laboratory Sciences delivers didactic and laboratory instruction in areas including microbiology, urinalysis, clinical chemistry, and hematology, develops curriculum materials, and evaluates student learning to drive continuous program improvement. The role advises and mentors students, supports accreditation and compliance efforts, collaborates with clinical affiliates, engages in scholarly activity, and provides service to the department, college, university, and community.

Able to lift to 25 lbs. and to perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing, and walking between buildings.
