University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for an Assistant Professor-in-Residence, Criminal Justice. The role emphasizes policing, police administration, and police wellness, teaching four courses per semester across undergraduate and graduate programs. The candidate will contribute to a new executive/professional master’s degree in policing and will have reassigned time to help coordinate it.

In-person and online teaching is required. The position requires a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience and first-hand experience working with public safety agencies.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

Responsabilités

• Teach four courses per semester with emphasis on policing, police administration, and police wellness.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses; contribute to a proposed executive/professional master’s degree in policing.
• Provide reassigned time to support development of the new graduate degree.
• Teach in person and online courses.
