Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses such as majors or non-majors' introductory biology, neuroscience, physiology, and other related courses in specialty; scholarly work involving undergraduates; advising students; service to the department, university and community; and professional development.
• Teaching assignments may extend to other campuses.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work with faculty and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to engage in interdisciplinary research.
• Ability to successfully incorporate technology and teach on-line is highly desirable.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D., or terminal degree, at the time of hire in biology or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential with preferred experience at the college level.
• A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.
• Teaching experience in biology, physiology, histology or neuroscience.
