Job Description Summary

Tenure track appointments are full-time with an initial probationary period of seven years. Criteria for promotion include significant achievements in teaching, research/scholarship, and service. The Clinical Scholar Track is for faculty involved in clinical service, education, and related scholarship, with two career paths: Clinician-Educator (teaching focus) and Clinician-Investigator (research focus). Contributions in professional and academic service are required for both paths.

• Participate in consults, inpatient service coverage, and on-call duties on a rotating basis with medical oncology staff.
• Establish ambulatory clinics for the medical oncology patient population.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Board Certified/Eligible in Medical Oncology
