Illinois State University invites applications for a nine‑month tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in Host–Microbe Interactions (Immunology, Microbiology). Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in Immunology, Microbiology, or closely related fields and relevant post‑doctoral experience.
• State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language.
• Proposed Starting Date: August 16, 2027.

Responsabilités

• Establish a rigorous, nationally recognized, and extramurally funded research program mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
• Contribute to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, and biotechnology.
• Engage in collaborations within ISU and across the university to strengthen research and teaching programs.
