Job Details: Job Location: Bethany Campus - Bethany, OK 73008 | Position Type: Faculty Full-Time | Education Level: Terminal Degree | Travel Percentage: Up to 25% | Full-time; Faculty 12-month contract

Job Summary

The primary focus of this position is to be a core faculty member in the Graduate Programs in Counseling Psychology, which trains master’s level students for careers as professional counselors. The successful candidate will carry a teaching load, provide clinical supervision at the onsite training clinic, Renew Counseling Center, and conduct research. A doctorate in counseling or clinical psychology is required, and the candidate should be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist or master’s level provider (e.g., LPC, LADC, LMFT).

Responsibilities

• Teach an annual course load of 20 hours.
• 12 hours of load release for Renew Counseling Center clinical activities (e.g., providing weekly group supervision for master’s level interns, providing weekly individual supervision for select master’s level interns, attending weekly didactics, having their own clinical load) and research.
• Attend weekly staff meetings.
• Provide mentorship for students working on clinical competency projects.
• Attend and actively participate in staff functions (e.g., admissions meetings, clinical competency evaluations, annual reviews).

• Conferred doctoral degree in counseling, clinical, or school psychology.
• Licensed or license eligible to practice in the state of Oklahoma at either the doctorate or master’s level (post‑doctoral candidates will be considered and can be provided clinical and supervision opportunities to aid in licensure).
• Demonstrable success teaching in higher education.
• Demonstrable success in the practice of counseling or clinical psychology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in counseling/clinical administration.

Supervision

• Receives supervision and work assignments from the Director of the Graduate Programs in Counseling Psychology.
• Provides group supervision for master’s level interns at Renew Counseling Center.
• Provides individual supervision for select master’s level interns at Renew Counseling Center.
