Central Connecticut State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering. The position focuses on teaching, engaging in interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary research, and contributing to ABET accreditation activities.

Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
Two years of relevant industrial or R&D experience.
Leadership experience for ABET accreditation or program development.
Professional engineering (P.E.) license preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate electrical engineering courses and develop/teach laboratories.
Engage in interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary research and supervise student research projects.
Participate in ABET accreditation activities and program assessment.
Engage with employers and community stakeholders and advise students.
