Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in early childhood education, reading and literacy, curriculum and instruction, teacher education, or related fields.
• ABD applicants with ongoing progress will be considered if all degree requirements are completed by June 1, 2028.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching.
• Evidence of sustained commitment to working with public schools, children and families and/or other early childhood settings.
• Expertise in early literacy practices and/or Science of Reading.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in early literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to teach a wide variety of early childhood and/or gifted education courses at undergrad/grad levels.
• Evidence of strong potential for scholarly productivity through publications/conference presentations.
