MassBay is located in Greater Boston and offers associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. The selected candidate will play a key role in launching the new Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program, scheduled to begin in fall 2026 at the state-of-the-art Ultrasound Lab in Framingham. We are seeking someone who is innovative, student-centered, and passionate about teaching, mentoring, and supporting learners from various backgrounds. Responsibilities include instructing in classroom, lab, and simulation settings; developing curriculum; advising students; and participating in accreditation processes and program administration.
The faculty member will design and execute instructional and evaluation materials in accordance with the philosophy of the DMS program, the mission of MassBay Community College, and the standards established by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Instructional duties may encompass day, hybrid, and online modalities. Faculty must maintain up-to-date credentials in at least one of the program’s concentrations, such as Abdominal or Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Salary Range: $74,000 - $87,325 in accordance with education and experience as dictated by the collective bargaining agreement classification and compensation structure.
