Job summary

The Department of Neuroscience at Yale University seeks to hire new tenure-track faculty members with interests in computational or theoretical neuroscience. We recognize that artificial intelligence and machine learning are changing all aspects of neuroscience and we are enthusiastic about candidates using computational methods to link models with experimental data.

Emphasis will be placed on recruiting at the level of Assistant Professor, with possible consideration for Associate Professor.

Qualifications

• Holds a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree.
• Strong record and potential in computational/theoretical neuroscience.
• Evidence of ability to develop research program and teach alongside graduate/medical education.

Responsibilities

• Develop an independent, externally funded research program in computational or theoretical neuroscience.
• Collaborate within Yale's neuroscience community and across institutes such as Wu Tsai Institute and Kavli Institute.
• Contribute to graduate and medical education and mentorship of students and postdocs.
