Job description

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non‑tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree.

Clinical responsibilities may include a faculty practice spanning comprehensive ophthalmic medical and surgical care at Scheie Eye Institute and select satellite locations, with the majority of outpatient services provided at the Penn Medicine location in Wilmington, Delaware.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in didactic and clinical instruction of residents and, as needed, medical students and fellows at Scheie.
